Music for All Opens 2025 Community Project Funding Round (UK)

Music for All, a UK charity dedicated to improving access to music-making, has announced the opening of its second funding round for 2025, aimed at supporting community-based music projects. This initiative seeks to provide resources to organisations working to enhance music education and participation, particularly in areas facing economic and social challenges.

The available grants include the Harris Foundation Schools Progression Award, offering up to £5,000 to schools aiming to deepen their music provision. Additional awards provide instruments such as entry-level ukuleles, half-size classical guitars, electric guitars with amplifiers, descant recorder packs, and keyboards. These resources are intended to support ensembles, bands, orchestras, and informal music groups, facilitating the purchase of instruments, studio equipment, and specialised teaching support.

Eligible applicants are UK-based community groups and schools that can demonstrate the impact of the funding on their music-making activities. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm on 27 June 2025. Interested organisations can apply through the Music for All website by setting up an account on Submittable and completing the online application form.
