Grants of up to £15,000 for Projects to Help Prevent or Reduce the Risk of Heart Disease (England South)

Small, registered charities and community interest companies with annual incomes of less than £1 million in the England South Region can apply for funding for local community projects that promote a healthy heart and help prevent or reduce the risk of heart disease in adults.

The Heart Research UK Heart Grant Scheme awards grants of up to £15,000 for projects lasting up to twelve months that encourage people to look after their hearts and promote positive lifestyle changes.

Projects must focus mainly on one or more of the following:

  • healthy eating,
  • physical activity,
  • smoking
  • alcohol consumption.

The England South Region includes: Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Bristol and Bath area, Dorset, Somerset, Cornwall, Isles of Scilly, Devon, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Inner London-West, Inner London-East, Outer London – East and North East, Outer London – South, Outer London – West and North West, East Anglia, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire

The closing date for applications is 5pm on the 13th August 2025.
