Funding to Support Local Communities (Leeds)

Grants of up to £2,500 are available to small community-led groups in Leeds working to improve the lives of the people in their communities.

The funding will support new or existing volunteer-led activities which aim to create opportunities, address inequalities, create safer communities, and improve the health and wellbeing of those most in need, such as children and young people, families, older people, members of the LGBT+ community, and people with disabilities.

The types of activities that could be supported include community gardening, staff training, mini-festivals, crafts workshops, employability programmes, and marketing consultation.

The funding is made available through the Leeds Community Foundation’s Leeds Fund: Micro Grants, which is open to constituted groups with an annual income below £75,000.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 28th April 2023.
