Together for Peace and the Leeds Community Foundation are partnering to offer funding for community climate action projects in Leeds.
Through their Climate Action Leeds Community Microgrants programme, charities, community groups, and other not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants of up to £1,000 for neighbourhood-based initiatives that promote reducing carbon, nature-friendly activity, and social justice.
The types of activities that could be funded include community composting schemes, clothing swaps, volunteer-led cycling schemes, community gardens, green energy feasibility studies, and repair and recycle hubs.
Organisations with an annual income of up to £35,000 have until 12pm on the 28th April 2023 to submit their applications.
