Funding Programme to Advance the Transition to Net Zero (UK)
Grants of up to £10,000 are available for groups and individuals to support initiatives that accelerate the UK’s transition to net zero.
The Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust (ORIT) Impact Fund Programme provides grants of up to £10,000 and volunteering support to innovative projects that enhance the environment and improve local communities.
ORIT is particularly interested in supporting initiatives that promote a "just transition", ensuring the benefits of the green economy transition are widely shared.
The programme’s main objectives are to:
- support new and innovative approaches to tackling environmental challenges
- support new and innovative approaches to tackle social challenges as part of the just transition
- support initiatives that help to alleviate fuel poverty
Individuals or groups must have a constitution and a bank account in the organisation's name.
A total of £50,000 is available in this round, which closes to applications on the 2nd September 2024.
