The McCarthy Stone Foundation has announced that its Community Grants Programme will reopen for applications on July 26, 2024. In the past, the programme has awarded grants of up to £7,500 to grassroots charitable organisations such as registered charities, community groups, and community interest companies for projects that tackle loneliness among older people in England, Scotland, and Wales.

Previous grants have been available to support the core and project costs of organisations working in deprived areas by providing direct person-centred interventions, e.g., befriending, to address loneliness.

The closing date for applications will be the 23^rd August 2024.
