Funding to Support Disadvantaged Communities (Leeds)

The latest round of Jimbo’s Fund is open for applications from organisations supporting people facing hardship in disadvantaged areas of Leeds.

Grants of up to £20,000 per year for three years are available to charities, community groups, and other not-for-profit organisations to support projects addressing food and fuel poverty, cost-of-living challenges, and other adversities, especially in underrepresented communities.

Previously funded initiatives include providing food and clothing to asylum seekers, helping families access essential baby items, and conducting street-level youth work for disengaged young people.

Small unincorporated and unregistered community organisations can apply for grants of up to £5,000.

The fund is administered by the Leeds Community Foundation, which will accept applications until 12pm on the 26th November 2024.
