Ufi VocTech Trust Launches New Ventures Challenge Fund (UK)
Recent startups developing Educational Technologies are invited to apply for an initial investment of £250,000 from the newly established Ventures Challenge Fund, provided by the Ufi VocTech Trust. This fund seeks to support companies that contribute to skills development in an economy increasingly influenced by automation, digitisation, and decarbonisation. Successful applicants may have the opportunity to receive up to an additional £1 million in follow-up funding.
The fund targets innovations in five key areas:
Green economy skills development
Digital transformation & Industry 4.0
Reskilling and upskilling in traditional industries
Inclusive skills development
Future of work and lifelong learning
Priority will be given to companies that have already launched products that not only support these areas but are also generating revenue and have the potential for scalable impact across the UK’s skills landscape.
Applicants should submit a detailed pitch deck to the Ufi Ventures team. The Trust aims to provide a response within five working days.
