Grant News
Hospice UK is providing grants to support the professional development of hospice and palliative care staff across the UK. The funding aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of those working in the sector, ultimately improving the quality of care provided to patients and their families.
The grants are available to individuals employed by Hospice UK member organisations, including clinical and non-clinical staff. Applicants can request up to £1,500 (up to 50% of the costs) to cover the costs of attending conferences, workshops, or training courses relevant to their role in hospice and palliative care.
Eligible expenses include conference or course fees, travel costs, and accommodation. The grants can be used for both in-person and virtual learning opportunities, recognising the diverse ways in which professional development can be accessed in today's digital landscape.
Interested applicants should submit their proposals through Hospice UK's online portal. There is no application deadline, and decisions are made on a rolling basis. Successful candidates will be expected to share their learning experiences with colleagues, further amplifying the funding's impact across the sector.
