Grants of up to £60,000 Available to Develop Volunteering Opportunities (Wales)

Not-for-profit organisations in Wales can apply for a grant of up to £30,000 per year for a maximum of two years to support the development and delivery of high-quality volunteering opportunities.

This funding is provided through the Volunteering Wales Grants Scheme, administered by the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA). The grant supports various activities to enhance volunteering in Wales, including increasing volunteer engagement by removing barriers to volunteering for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. It also focuses on developing quality opportunities and supporting the creation and enhancement of positive volunteering experiences. Additionally, the grant encourages organisations to embed volunteering practices into their culture and operations, such as achieving the Investing in Volunteers Award.

The application closing date for the next funding round is the 17th January 2025.
