The Comic Relief Organisational Growth Grant, administered by WCVA, offers funding between £20,000 and £35,000 to voluntary organisations in Wales. This grant aims to support organisations in making strategic changes that enhance their impact and resilience. It focuses on activities that strengthen core community-led initiatives, explore new ways of working, and build organisational capacity.

A total of £315,000 is available.

Eligible applicants must be based in Wales with an annual income below £250,000. They should demonstrate how their work benefits the local community, with priority given to projects that contribute to themes such as:

• Children and young people – learning and development; early childhood development
• Community – focusing on local services including food banks, community kitchens and safe spaces for vulnerable people
• Family focused outreach and support – basic essentials and needs / financial support
• Homelessness
• Mental health services

This round of funding is open for applications until 6 December 2024, and projects can commence as early as February 2025.

Organisations must register through WCVA’s Multipurpose Application Portal (MAP) to apply. The grant will fund initiatives that develop new strategies, improve service delivery, or fill key organisational skill gaps, with a focus on sustainable growth​.
