Tourism and hospitality businesses across Wales can apply for support through a new £2 million Welsh Government grant scheme to improve accessibility and create more inclusive visitor experiences. The Croeso i Bawb scheme aims to remove barriers for disabled visitors, neurodivergent visitors, people with hidden conditions, and those travelling with them.
The Welsh Government is the devolved government for Wales and is responsible for areas including economic development, tourism and major events. The fund forms part of its wider ambition to make Wales a more accessible and welcoming destination for everyone.
Grants of £5,000 - £20,000 are available to support practical improvements such as:
- accessible toilets and bedrooms;
- improved paths and visitor routes;
- hearing loops;
- inclusive play areas;
- sensory spaces, rest areas and accessible outdoor seating.
Applicants will be able to use practical guidance and a toolkit developed with Wales-based not-for-profit PIWS, which encourages businesses to review the full visitor experience, identify barriers and prioritise changes with the greatest impact.
Tourism and hospitality businesses in Wales must submit applications by 21 September 2026.
