Community Foundation Wales has announced that the Fund for Wales is open for applications, offering grants of £500 to £2,500 per year for up to three years to small community organisations across Wales.

The Fund for Wales is a national community endowment fund managed by Community Foundation Wales. It supports grassroots organisations working to improve people’s life chances, strengthen communities, improve local environments, encourage healthier communities, and preserve heritage and culture.

• Applicants must be constituted charities, voluntary groups, CICs, social enterprises or companies limited by guarantee.
• Annual income must be below £100,000.
• Beneficiaries must be based in Wales.
• Grants: £500–£2,500 annually for up to three years.

Applications are made online through Community Foundation Wales’ Grants Hub. Panels meet monthly, with decisions normally issued within two months. The current closing date is 12 noon on 9 November 2026, subject to change.
