Research Competition into Supply Chain Development for Power Electronics, Machines & Drives (UK)

Up to £22 million in funding is available for research into supply chain development for power electronics, electric machines and drives (PEMD) to support the UK’s drive towards net zero.

The Innovation Funding Service, working with Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, will invest in business-led, supply chain focused, innovation projects that enable future improvements in productivity, capacity, quality and efficiency.

UK registered businesses of any size can apply for funding for collaborative projects lasting between 18 and 36 months, with total eligible costs of between £500,000 and £5 million.

The competition opens to applications on the 8th March 2021 until 11am on the 2nd June 2021.
