The Wolfson Foundation has announced that its main grants Programme – Funding for Places – has re-opened for applications. Through Funding for places a wide range of organisations working across the fields of education, science & medicine, health & disability, heritage, humanities & the arts can apply for capital grants for buildings (new build or refurbishment) and equipment. This includes:
- Charities working with disability funding
- Charities working in mental health funding
- Charities working with older people funding
- Historic buildings & landscapes funding
- Hospices & palliative care organisations funding
- Places of worship funding
- Libraries & archives funding
- Museums & galleries funding
- Performing arts organisations funding
- Public engagement with science organisations funding
- Secondary schools & sixth form colleges funding
- Special needs schools & colleges funding
- Universities & research institutions
There is a two-stage application process and the deadline for stage 1 applications is the 1st July 2023. Organisations successful at this stage will have until the 1st .September to submit a full application.
The level of funding available varies across the range of programmes available and it is advised that potential applicants look at the application criteria for the relevant scheme before submitting an application.
