The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities is making £3.3 million in extra funding available to help rough sleepers into accommodation.

The funding, which is made available through the Night Shelter Transformation Fund, will enable night shelters in England to provide more beds and support services to homeless people. This could include specialist staff to treat people struggling with drug and alcohol addictions and violence on the street, and assisting those with financial difficulties.

Organisations can check their eligibility and access the prospectus when it becomes available on the government website in the coming weeks.
