£15 Million in Funding for Farmers to Protect the Landscape (England)

Farmers and landowners can apply for a share of £15 million in funding from the second round of the UK Government’s Landscape Recovery scheme to support projects that will protect and restore thousands of acres of the English landscape.

This round of funding will support up to 25 projects of at least 500 hectares targeting net zero, protected sites and habitat creation, alongside sustainable food production. Applications can be made by individuals, organisations and collaborative groups that are able to deliver large scale projects. This could include projects creating and enhancing woodland, peatland, nature reserves and protected sites such as ancient woodlands, wetlands and salt marshes.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 21st September 2023.
