Primary and secondary schools can apply for grants from the Armourers and Brasiers’ Company to support science education and enrich pupils’ classroom learning.
The funding is available through the Company’s Science in Schools programme, with separate application forms available for primary and secondary schools.
The grants are intended to help schools improve science teaching and learning. Supported activities may include:
- the purchase of science equipment,
- practical classroom resources to improve practical science teaching and give pupils better access to hands-on science learning,
- activities that enrich science education
The programme sits within the Company’s wider funding and grants work and is specifically linked to supporting science in schools.
Grants are at standard values of £600 for primary schools and £1,000 for secondary schools.
Applications will close at 11 pm on 31 July 2026 and grants will be awarded by 4 September 2026.
