The Leche Trust has announced that its Performing Arts Grants programme for 2026-27 is now open for applications
Grants are available to support original work and artist development in the performing arts. The programme focuses on:
- new works in music, theatre, dance and performance
- commissioning, development, production and performance
- professional development programmes for early or mid-career artists
Applicants must be UK registered charities or local authority-run venues with an annual turnover below £1.5 million. Grants are typically around £4,000. The Trust prefer to support smaller projects, or specific elements of projects, where their funding can have a greater impact.
Preference is given to applications from outside London and the South East of England. Organisations in London and the South East should contact the Grants Director before applying. Community Interest Companies (CICs) and individuals are not eligible to apply.
The next application deadline is 31 August 2026.
