Funding for Projects to Help Prevent Suicide (Leeds)

Registered charities, community groups, CIOs, CICs, and other third sector organisations can apply for grants of up to £10,000 for projects which help prevent suicide amongst groups at risk.

The fund aims to support social activities determined by local participants and to provide outreach work with targeted communities to reduce social isolation and promote protective factors for wellbeing.

Funding could be used for projects such as pilot projects, support for smaller groups, help with capacity building, and small-scale research and market testing.

Small unincorporated and unregistered community groups can apply for a maximum of £5,000.

The funding is made available by Public Health in partnership with Leeds Community Foundation.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 22nd April 2024.
