Funding for Projects to Help Prevent Suicide (Leeds)

Registered charities, community groups, CIOs, CICs, and other third sector organisations can apply for grants of up to £10,000 for projects which help prevent suicide amongst groups at risk.

The fund aims to support social activities and provide outreach work with targeted communities to reduce social isolation and promote wellbeing.

The funding available through the Leeds Community Foundation's Suicide Prevention Small Grants Programme particularly encourages applications from, or those benefiting, under-represented groups in their grant making. These include, for example, LGBTQIA+, racially minoritised, d/Deaf, or disabled individuals.

Funding could be used for projects such as pilot projects, support for smaller groups, help with capacity building, and small-scale research and market testing.

Small unincorporated and unregistered community groups can apply for a maximum of £5,000.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 28th April 2025.
