Funding to Support Disadvantaged Communities (Leeds)

Grants of up to £20,000 are available to charities, community groups, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations supporting people suffering hardship in disadvantaged areas in Leeds.

The funding is made available for projects that support children and young people, those with disabilities, older people, and people in need, particularly those impacted by the current cost-of-living crisis.

The type of activity that can be funded is quite broad, and could be used to cover project costs, staff costs, training for volunteers or staff, purchase equipment, refurbishment and building work, and contributions to core costs.

The funding is being delivered by the Leeds Community Foundation.  It is expected that between 20 and 30 projects will be funded.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 6th January 2024.
