Grant News
Community organisations in Leeds are invited to apply for grants of up to £3,000 to support vulnerable people at risk of becoming unwell over winter.
The Stay Well this Winter Grants are a partnership between Leeds Community Foundation and Leeds City Council Public Health. Now in its 14th year, the grants have helped to support thousands of people struggling to stay warm and well during the winter months.
This year, priority will be given to proposals that support people experiencing multiple vulnerabilities, including young children, pregnant women, disabled people, older people, low-income families, marginalised or isolated people, and homeless people.
Grants can be used to fund a wide range of activities, such as:
- Practical hands-on support, such as doorstep delivery of food and transport
- Welfare and befriending visits
- Digital inclusion support and training
- Games, crafts, and other activities to increase social connection
- Outreach to homeless people and rough sleepers
- Proactive initiatives to engage new people with services
Applications for the Stay Well this Winter Grants close at 12 noon on the 31st July 2024.
