Grant News
The Ogden Trust's School Partnerships programme is accepting applications for new partnerships starting in 2025-2616. The programme aims to enhance physics teaching and learning by supporting groups of schools working collaboratively.
The programme offers funding of up to £8,500 over a five-year period for eligible partnerships.
To qualify, partnerships must include a minimum of six schools and be mixed-phase, incorporating both primary and secondary institutions. Priority will be given to partnerships that include secondary schools without a physics specialist, schools with students or science/physics teachers from under-represented or disadvantaged groups, and schools with above-average Free School Meals percentages.
The Ogden Trust has identified priority areas for partnerships starting in 2025-26 based on government opportunity areas, IDACI, and ONS data for levels of deprivation, as well as current levels of physics and STEM engagement.
A partnership coordinator, typically the physics lead at the lead school, will be the main contact point. A time release grant of £3,000 is available in the first year of the partnership.
The closing date for applications is the 10th January 2025.
