Grant News
The Ogden Trust has announced the opening of applications for its Teach Physics 2025 internship programme. This initiative aims to provide undergraduate students with valuable classroom experience to help them consider teaching physics as a career option.
The programme offers grants of £400 per week for a 4-5 week internship placement in a UK secondary school. Successful applicants can observe and participate in physics lessons, gaining hands-on experience in the classroom. The Trust will fund up to 45 placements for summer 2025, prioritising students who have not previously completed a Teach Physics internship.
Eligible applicants must be full-time undergraduates studying physics or a closely related subject at a UK university. They should be in their penultimate year of study and considering a career in teaching. The programme is open to both UK and international students, provided they meet the eligibility criteria and have the right to work in the UK.
To apply for the Teach Physics 2025 internship, interested students must complete an online application form available on the Ogden Trust website. The application process is currently open, with a deadline of 24th January 2025.
