Grant News
Impetus, a UK-based charity dedicated to transforming the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed in school, work, and life, has announced that it is currently accepting applications for its Skills Grant 2025.
The fund is looking to support two organisations in England, Wales or Scotland dedicated to assisting young people aged 16 to 24 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET) by enhancing their employment-related skills. Eligible organisations will receive £100,000 in unrestricted funding for one year, with the possibility of extended support. Beyond financial assistance, partners will benefit from hands-on guidance from Impetus's Investment Team, access to a network of pro bono experts, and opportunities for peer learning and policy influence.
To qualify, applicants must be a Charity, Social Enterprise or Further Education College with a proven track record or strong potential to deliver measurable employment outcomes for NEET youth. A committed leadership team and financial sustainability are also essential criteria. The closing date for applications is 11:59 pm on the 17th April 2025. Prospective applicants can assess their eligibility and find more information on the Impetus website. (link below)
