Grant News
Community groups, charities, and other not-for-profit organisations in Leeds can apply for funding to deliver projects that support pre-natal, post-natal, and early years development for children aged 0–5 and their families.
The Flint Family Fund, managed by Leeds Community Foundation, is offering grants of £10,000 to £20,000 over two years for inclusive, community-led projects that reduce isolation and improve outcomes for families living in deprived areas.
Projects could include:
- social activities for pregnant people and after birth, that could combat loneliness and support their mental health and wellbeing
- one-to-one support, peer support, linking up with and supporting access to health care, financial and other types of assistance
- practical support, items and equipment for pregnant people and new parents
- activities that improve parenting skills and encourage parental engagement
- activities that help develop children’s communication and language skills and early numbers skills
- activities involving outdoors play, accessing high-quality green spaces and healthy eating
Grants can cover full project costs, including staff and core overheads.
Around seven grants will be awarded, with priority given to inclusive, community-led projects that reduce isolation and improve outcomes for families living in deprived areas.
Small unincorporated and unregistered community organisations can apply for grants of up to £5,000.
The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 17th November 2025.
