Grant News
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has opened a new round of the Do it for East Yorkshire – Our Place – Youth Fund, offering support to organisations delivering fresh activities for young people across the region. The programme aims to boost opportunities that help young people learn, participate, express themselves, and feel included and empowered.
Voluntary groups, charities, youth clubs, faith-based organisations, CICs and other not-for-profit bodies can apply. Projects must be new or additional to existing work and must benefit young people aged 10–19, care leavers up to 25, or those with SEND.
Grants of £1,500 to £5,000 are available for activity-based projects, with up to £10,000 offered for small capital improvements. In total, the council has allocated £65,000 for this round.
The fund supports a wide range of provision, from outreach such as mobile youth work to programmes focused on sport, arts, digital skills, wellbeing, environmental action and other community-rooted activities. The aim is to help organisations create safe, engaging spaces that strengthen young people’s confidence, skills and sense of belonging.
Applications close at 12 noon on 5 January 2026, and funded projects will run between April 2026 and March 2027.
This opportunity provides a valuable boost for organisations working to improve outcomes for young people across East Yorkshire. Interested groups should review the guidance and submit proposals that clearly demonstrate need, community benefit and positive impact.
