Grants to Help Creative Individuals & Organisations Engage with the Public (Wales)

The Arts Council Wales are making grants of up to £50,000 available for the development and creation of high-quality arts experiences that help creative individuals and organisations in Wales engage with and connect to the wider public.

“Create”, a National Lottery Arts Funding programme, will provide opportunities for individuals and organisations, including festivals, to produce and present their best work by funding the production and presentation of work, the development of new ideas and/or supporting their development through training or business growth and change.

Proposals will need to demonstrate how they support one or more of the following priorities:

  • Research and development
  • Creation of work for presentation
  • Programming, presenting and touring
  • Festivals
  • Participation and Community engagement
  • Training or professional development
  • Business development (but not start-ups)

The programme can fund up to 90% of eligible costs.

Applications for small grants of up to £10,000 can be accepted at any time.

Applications for large grants of between £10,001 and £50,000 (£100,000 in exceptional circumstances) must be submitted by 5pm on the 8th May 2024.
