Grant News
Grants of up to £1,000 are available to schools for single visits to arts and cultural events in Wales.
Go and See Grants will fund the cost of tickets and transport for visits to high-quality arts events in galleries, theatres, arts centres and other venues which contribute to and enrich learning for children up to 16 years of age.
This could include visits to performances and exhibitions or visits to experience arts professionals developing and creating their work.
Eligibility:
- State-maintained schools in Wales for learners aged 3 to16 years
- Pupil referral units in Wales for learners aged 3 to 16 years
Priority will be given to schools that are yet to benefit from Creative Learning through the Arts funding.
Up to 90% of the total cost of the visit will be funded, with a minimum of 10% match funding required.
Schools can apply for multiple grants throughout the academic year, but they can only have one grant open at a time.
Funding is made available by the Arts Council of Wales and the Welsh Government. Applications are accepted at any time, but must be received at least five working weeks before the event start date.
