Grant News
Voluntary, community, and public sector organisations can apply for grants to support projects that bring people together and make a lasting, positive impact across Wales.
The funding is available through the National Lottery Community Fund’s People and Places programme, which invests £20 million annually to help communities work collaboratively on what matters most to them.
The programme focuses on four key missions:
- helping communities come together,
 - promoting environmental sustainability,
 - supporting children and young people to thrive, a
 - enabling people to live healthier lives.

Two levels of funding are available:
- Medium Grants ranging from £20,001 to £100,000,
 - Large Grants from £100,001 to £500,000 — for projects lasting up to five years.

Funding can be used for both capital and revenue costs.
Applications should focus on underrepresented communities. These may include:
- older people
 - disabled people
 - women
 - ethnically minoritised people
 - faith-based communities
 - LGBTQ+ people
 - people in rural areas

Organisations interested in applying should contact the National Lottery Community Fund by email or phone to request an application form. Applications can be submitted at any time.
