The National Lottery Community Fund has announced changes to its People and Places programme, which supports communities across Wales in working together to make a positive impact on what matters most to them.

With an annual investment of £20 million, the programme aims to make a bigger difference for communities, and will be guided by the Fund’s new four missions. These are supporting communities to:

• come together
• be more environmentally sustainable
• help children and young people thrive
• enable people to live healthier lives

People and Places has two strands:

• Medium – grants of between £20,001 to £100,000
• Large – grants of between £100,001 to £500,000

The funding is available to voluntary, community or public sector organisations, with projects lasting up to 5 years. Funding can cover both capital and revenue costs.

Applicants should initially contact the Fund by email or phone to request an application form. Applications can be made at any time.
