Grants of up to £750 are available to community sports clubs in Welsh coalfield communities to support the purchase of youth team kits.
The funding is provided by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust through their Game On+ Kit grant which aims to get more young people aged 13 to 19 to play and stay in sport.
The funding could be used for example to purchase full kit for an U13 girls’ team, or wet weather gear for an U16 boys’ team etc.
CRT Game On+ allows those taking part in the CRT Game On programme to access additional opportunities such as training, volunteering, community asset transfer support and kit grants to deliver the full benefits of a life with sport.
Applications can be submitted at any time, with decisions typically issued within twenty working days.
