Funding to Strengthen Networking Opportunities Across the Arts and Cultural Sectors (Wales)

The Arts Council of Wales is offering financial support to encourage new networks and strengthen networking opportunities within the arts and cultural sectors. Grants of up to £2,500 are available through the Sharing Together Fund to support various types of networks, such as local/regional groups, artist-led groups, or those connected by art form or activity types.

Projects eligible for funding must promote and enhance diversity and inclusion in the arts sector and increase engagement with diverse communities. The funds can be used to organise one-time meetings to unite individuals or organisations with shared interests and to create online forums or communities.

The types of costs that can be supported include:

  • room hire
  • catering
  • speaker/facilitator fees and expenses
  • translation fees
  • access costs
  • hire of equipment
  • purchase of appropriate software or up to 1 year’s access to an online platform

Applications are particularly welcomed from Deaf, disabled, neurodivergent, ethnically and culturally diverse communities, and those addressing social, economic, or geographical disadvantage.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 3rd September 2025.
