£5,000 Grants Available to Support Anti-Poverty Organisations (Greater Manchester)

Voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations in Greater Manchester can apply for funding to support vulnerable people most affected by the cost-of-living crisis.

The Cost-of-Living Crisis Funding Programme is provided by the Eric Wright Charitable Trust. It aims to help sustain anti-poverty organisations that are themselves facing operational pressures.

Thirty-six grants of £5,000 will be awarded to help with organisational costs, including:

  • salaries
  • expenses
  • overheads
  • consumables
  • equipment
  • administration
  • training
  • communications

The funding is aimed at organisations with an annual turnover between £50,000 and £250,000 that are based and operating in one of Greater Manchester’s ten localities.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on 22 June 2026. Successful applicants are expected to receive funding by early August 2026, and all grants must be spent by 31 January 2027.
