Grant News
The People's Postcode Trust has announced its 2025 funding rounds to support charities and good causes in Scotland.
The funding aims to assist organisations addressing key community needs, including promoting physical activity, enhancing arts participation, alleviating poverty, supporting marginalised groups, improving biodiversity, enhancing green spaces, and providing mental health support.
Eligible organisations can apply for unrestricted grants of up to £25,000. Those eligible for the maximum funding include Community Interest Companies (CICs) with an asset lock, Community Benefit Societies, registered charities, and Parochial Church Councils registered with the Charity Commission.
Smaller organisations—such as constituted voluntary groups without a charity number and companies limited by guarantee that have an asset lock—may apply for grants of up to £2,500.
The Trust prioritises organisations with an annual income of £250,000 and below, those operating in communities within the top 15% on the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation, and groups supporting minority or marginalised populations.
Applications for Round 1 are currently open, with a short deadline set for the 31st March at 12 noon. Subsequent rounds are scheduled for 24th June to 1st July, with a third round to be announced later in the year. Interested organisations should review the Funding Guide and submit their applications through the Trust's website (link below).
