Grant News
Greenspace Scotland has announced that its Parks4Life Community Fund will re-open for applications on the 2nd April 2025. The fund offers grants ranging from £500 to £1,500 to improve, promote, and develop local parks and greenspaces across the country.
The Parks4Life Community Fund has been created through the donations and support to work towards creating the first £1m endowment fund to empower local communities to bring their parks to life, ensuring these vital spaces are accessible and enjoyable for everyone now and in the future. Eligible projects may include organising community events, enhancing park facilities, implementing environmental improvements, and promoting biodiversity.
Managed jointly by Greenspace Scotland and MyParkScotland, the fund will be open to applications from constituted community and Friends groups operating within Scotland. These groups should have a clear focus on the betterment of local parks or greenspaces.
In 2024 the Fund supported 11 organisations from across Scotland to parks and greenspaces. Visit Parks4Life Funded projects to find out about the projects that received funding.
The closing date for applications will be the 25th April 2025.
