Grant News
UK-based registered charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs) with significant recent experience supporting Armed Forces communities can apply for grants of up to £20,000 to support the mental health and well-being needs of marginalised groups within Armed Forces communities.
The focus should be on prevention and early intervention.
The funding is being made available through the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust’s Hidden Voices Programme 2024/25. The programme aims to identify and fill gaps in service provision and foster collaborative partnerships between Armed Forces organisations and specialist non-armed Forces organisations.
The programme supports projects lasting up to 12 months.
The funding is available for projects that meet all of the following outcomes:
- building collaborative partnerships,
- identifying and addressing gaps in service provision,
- providing accessible and defined interventions,
- and enhancing the awareness and understanding of the unique needs of Armed Forces communities among mainstream voluntary sector organisations.
The grant can support activities related to these objectives, such as developing new services, enhancing existing support mechanisms, and creating ongoing support opportunities for these communities.
Applications must be submitted by 12 noon on the 8th January 2025 to receive a decision by the end of April 2025.
