Grant News
BBC Children in Need has launched a new funding initiative to support under-served and marginalised children and young people across the UK.
The Pudsey Next Steps programme offers grants of £1,000 to £15,000 per year for up to three years, to not-for-profit organisations working with children and young people under 18 facing challenges such as poverty, discrimination, and exclusion. This includes those who are care-experienced, disabled, or from minoritised ethnic communities.
The programme aims to empower young people by building their skills, resilience, and opportunities.
Organisations must:
- have not been funded by BBC Children in Need before
- have an annual income of £100,000 or less
- are based in the community they serve
- address the specific local priorities identified for this round specific to each nation or region
Funding will be allocated based on local needs and priorities and will support both core and project costs.
Expressions of interest close on the 16th October 2024.
