Future Stories Fund Opens for Applications (West Midlands)

Audible, the online audiobook and podcast service,  has launched the Future Stories Fund, offering grants of up to £15,000 to support projects that engage with young people aged 16-25 through storytelling and language. The fund aims to amplify the voices of historically marginalised youth, improve literacy levels, and broaden career aspirations. Organisations of all sizes and stages, including charities, CICs, networks, and grassroots groups, are eligible to apply, even if they are not incorporated.

The fund is currently open for applications from projects in the West Midlands, including areas such as Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, and Stoke-on-Trent. Applicants must demonstrate how their project will use language and expression to empower young people from underserved communities or areas of high deprivation.

The deadline for submissions is 23 February 2024.

Audible is collaborating with Think Beyond to administer the fund, which includes additional support such as capacity building, consultancy, and fiscal hosting for successful applicants.
