Grants Available to Chrities Providing Physical Health Services (UK)

The James Tudor Foundation has re-opened applications for its Physical Health Programme. The programme offers funding to UK charities that work to improve physical health outcomes.

Grants of up to £25,000 per year are available for up to three years. Funding supports charities that provide:

  • therapeutic treatments,
  • specialist health information, and
  • direct healthcare services
    for people living with physical health conditions.

The foundation aims to fund proven services that meet clearly identified physical health needs that are not currently well supported in the UK.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • be a UK-registered charity operating only within the UK,
  • have an annual income of less than £20 million, and
  • have at least five years of audited or independently examined accounts.

Priority will be given to charities that provide:

  • physical therapies for people with degenerative conditions, disabilities, or life-changing injuries;
  • specialist support and information focused on a single physical health condition;
  • direct healthcare services for marginalised communities; and
  • certain regional air ambulance services.

The programme does not fund organisations whose work is broad in scope or mainly focused on mental health, neurodiversity, dementia, learning disabilities, or general wellbeing and leisure activities.

Applications are made through a two-stage process. Charities must first complete an online eligibility check and submit an Expression of Interest. Shortlisted organisations will then be invited to submit a full application.

The deadline for Expression of Interest submissions is 5pm on 6 February 2026.
