£400,000 Cultural and Arts Funding Call (Birmingham)
Birmingham City Council has launched a £400,000 funding programme for arts and culture organisations in Birmingham. The Together on Culture programme aims to increase access to cultural activity in local communities and raise the city’s profile.
Funding is available through three streams:
- The Local Cultural Improvement Fund offers grants of up to £10,000 for constituted organisations delivering creative projects based on existing local cultural plans that increase the visibility of arts and culture in local communities. A total of £100,000 is available
- The Local Cultural Event Fund provides up to £10,000 for local arts and cultural events that bring people together and celebrate local creativity. A total of £100,000 is available
- The Magnets & Moonshots Open Call Fund offers £10,000 to £50,000 for cultural events and activities that attract visitors, raise Birmingham’s profile and generate wider economic and social benefits. A total of £200,000 is available.
Eligibility varies by funding stream.
Applications close at 1pm on 6 November 2026.
