Funding to Support Genetic Disorder Charities Impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic (UK)

In response to the Coronavirus, Jeans for Genes has announced that they will be focusing their latest round of funding on supporting genetic disorder charities across the UK to adapt, respond and recover from the effects of the pandemic.

In this round, unrestricted grants of £2,500 will be awarded to support charities that aim to improve the quality of life of children with genetic disorders.

To be eligible, charities must have an annual income of under £200,000 and be disorder specific or one whose beneficiaries are solely those with genetic disorders. They must also not have received a Jeans for Genes grant in 2020.

The fund will be open to applications between the 1st July 2021 and the 12th August 2021.

Jeans for Genes are holding two zoom Q&A sessions during the application window for potential applicants to learn more about the application process and for us to answer any questions you may have:

Tuesday 6th July: 10:30am – 11:30am

Tuesday 13th July: 1:30pm –  2:30pm
