Funding to Set Up New Ventures that Improve the Mental Health of Young People (UK)

Funding and investments of up to £250,000 is available to UK entrepreneurs looking to set up new companies to improve children and young people’s mental health. 

The funding is being made available through the Zinc Venture Builder Programme.  The programme aims to help build new companies that tackle the biggest social challenges in the developed world.

Each year the programme has a different mission and this year’s mission is to ensure that every child and young person can develop and maintain good mental and emotional health.

The programme consists of two six-month phases: Venture Builder & Accelerate. Financial support will be provided in the form of a stipend of £12,000 during the first six months of the programme, £75,000 for each venture chosen for the Accelerate phase and around £150,000 investment for each venture which goes on to achieve full seed-stage investment.

Applicants will join the programme as an individual and create their team during the first stage of the programme.

The deadline for applications is the 29th July 2021.
