Funding for Community Eco-Gardens (East Midlands)

Schools, charities, and other not-for-profit organisations around East Midlands Airport (EMA) can apply for grants of up to £10,000 to create their own eco-gardens.

The EMA Eco-Garden Fund encourages designs for gardens or green spaces that incorporate clever and innovative ways to make any space available more environmentally friendly and provide lasting benefit to communities.

To be considered for funding, applicants must demonstrate how their gardens will provide opportunities for outdoor learning, increase recreational use, improve wellbeing, and inspire communities to think about climate change, sustainability and the importance of biodiversity.

The fund is open for applications until the 24th April 2024 or until all funding has been allocated, whichever happens first.
