Grant News
The King Charles III Charitable Fund has reopened its Small Grants Programme, offering up to £9,000 over three years to support UK-registered charities working in priority areas such as the environment, countryside, education, heritage, health, and social inclusion.
The programme is open to small not for profit organisations with annual incomes between £25,000 and £500,000 that have been operating for at least two years. Applicants must hold less than six months of unrestricted reserves and propose projects with a total cost under £50,000. Reapplications are only accepted two years after the outcome of any previous bid.
Grant rounds are held three times per year, each focusing on two of the fund’s six themes. The upcoming round in August 2025 will prioritise environment and countryside projects.
With over 1,400 applications submitted in the last cycle and around 100 awards made, demand remains high. Successful applicants are typically those who demonstrate strong community engagement, clear outcomes, and financial need.
The closing date for applications is noon on the 20th August 2025.
