Competition for Research Ideas to Address Real-World Challenges (UK)
The Open University (OU) has announced the launch of its Open Societal Challenges Programme, Challenge Us!
This new initiative seeks innovative research ideas that tackle real-world problems facing people across the UK and worldwide.
The programmes will focus on the themes of:
- Tackling Inequalities
- Living Well
- Sustainability
Applications will be accepted from OU students and recent graduates, UK charities, and businesses based in Milton Keynes.
Grants of at least £25,000 will be awarded, with at least one winner selected per stream.
The competition will open on the 1st March 2024 and close on the 15th May 2024.
