The Science and Technology Facilities Council is seeking applications for the Late-stage commercialisation scheme 2024, to support the development and commercialisation of technologies within the particle physics, astronomy, and nuclear physics (PPAN) community.
This scheme aims to turn scientific discoveries into real-world solutions for challenges faced by both the PPAN community and the wider UK.
It focuses on technologies developed in areas like particle astrophysics, astronomy, quantum science, and computing, with a focus on projects at technology readiness levels five to seven.
The full economic cost (FEC) of a project can be up to £600,000. 80% of the FEC will be funded for up to two years’ work.
Collaboration with industrial partners is welcomed.
The funding is made available in partnership with Innovate UK.
Organisations must give notice of their intention to apply by 5pm on the 12th March 2024. The deadline for full applications is 4pm on the 8th May 2024.
