Funding to Improve the Lives of Vulnerable & Marginalised People (UK)
Grants of up to £50,000 are available to organisations such as local community, voluntary or faith-based groups and charities working to supportvulnerable and marginalised people across the UK.
Applications will be accepted for projects that support the following key themes:
- building resilience to poverty
- empowering women and girls
- support refugee and asylum-seeking communities
- youth and family development
First-time applicants can receive grants of £1,000 to £40,000, and second-time successful applicants can bid for £50,000.
The funding can be used to cover costs such as:
- staff salaries and associated costs
- room hire
- equipment, materials, and other project resources
- organisational or core costs (including rent, heat, light, insurance)
Multi-year funding is available.
The funding is made available through Islamic Relief UK’s Grants Programme, which closes to applications at 5pm on the 8th of July 2024.
