Funding to Improve the Lives of Vulnerable & Marginalised People (UK)

Grants of up to £50,000 are available to organisations such as local community, voluntary or faith-based groups and charities working to supportvulnerable and marginalised people across the UK.

Applications will be accepted for projects that support the following key themes:

  • building resilience to poverty
  • empowering women and girls
  • support refugee and asylum-seeking communities
  • youth and family development

First-time applicants can receive grants of £1,000 to £40,000, and second-time successful applicants can bid for £50,000.

The funding can be used to cover costs such as:

  • staff salaries and associated costs
  • room hire
  • equipment, materials, and other project resources
  • organisational or core costs (including rent, heat, light, insurance)

Multi-year funding is available.

The funding is made available through Islamic Relief UK’s Grants Programme, which closes to applications at 5pm on the 8th of July 2024.
