Competition to Improve the Sustainability of Manufacturing Processes (UK)

UK registered businesses and organisations can apply for a share of up to £20 million in funding for digital innovation projects that will improve the sustainability of manufacturing processes.

Funding from the Made Smarter Innovation: Sustainable Smart Factory competition, delivered by UK Research and Innovation, will support the development of digital innovations to improve the sustainability of manufacturing processes, resulting in either reduced material or reduced energy consumption.

The competition is open to collaborations between UK businesses of any size and at least one micro, small or medium-sized enterprise for projects ranging between £1 million and £8 million.

The competition closes to applications at 11am on the 26th January 2022.
