The Veterans’ Foundation has announced that funding is available for organisations supporting serving and former members of the Armed Forces, operationally qualified seafarers and their immediate families.
The Foundation provides grants to organisations addressing a range of needs within the Armed Forces community. These include homelessness, unemployment, financial hardship, disability, mental and physical health, addiction, welfare needs and support for families and children. Priority is given to organisations providing direct support.
Funding is available through several programmes, including
- Small Grants of £500 to £5,000,
- Standard Grants of £5,001 to £30,000,
- Salary Grants of up to £25,000 per year for three years, with a maximum award of £75,000.
The Foundation also operates a Major Grants programme for larger partnership projects. The 2026 Major Grants round offered awards of £200,000 to £500,000 and is now closed.

Organisations holding an existing Veterans’ Foundation grant must wait six months from the award date before applying again. Unsuccessful applicants can normally reapply three months after receiving their decision.
