Rosa, a UK fund dedicated to supporting women and girls by investing in grassroots organisations working to achieve gender equality and social justice, has announced the launch of the Rise Fund 2025.
This fund is designed to invest in the future of organisations across the UK that are led by and for Black and racially minoritised women and girls, offering two-year grants of up to £40,000.
The funding is specifically aimed at strengthening organisational development, supporting work in key areas such as:
- strategy,
- governance,
- leadership,
- partnerships with other women’s organisations,
- financial sustainability,
- fundraising,
- impact measurement,
- and internal systems and processes.
Eligible organisations must have an annual income between £30,000 and £300,000.
Priority will be given to proposals from organisations operating in the UK’s most disadvantaged communities, those based in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland, and those led by and for disabled or LGBTQ+ women and girls.
The deadline for applications is 4 pm on 23rd June 2025.
